When British Airways commissioned us to produce our restaurant-standard
dressings and vinaigrettes in single serve portions for their Club Class
passengers, we rose to the challenge. We love breaking new ground and
went to great lengths to source innovative packaging that would reflect
the quality expected by BA Club Class passengers. We had tiny glass bottles
made for us, and created a heat shrunk clear sleeve placed over a bespoke
Portuguese cork to complete the tamper-proof seal. Delighted with the
results, BA placed an order, within a month of presentation, for approx
50,000 products a week to include Balsamic Dressing, Sun Dried Tomato
Vinaigrette, Herb Vinaigrette and Creamy Garlic and Oregano and a traditional
quality Caesar dressings. |

leading chefs, on a number of projects. Having worked as head chef at
Le Caprice and The Ivy, Mark Hix opened the much anticipated restaurant ‘Hix
Oyster and Chop House’ in London’s Smithfield in 2008. We
have created with Mark a range of delicious dressings, which are on sale
at Selfridges and other leading retailers. We are currently working
with him on a range of English Chutneys to include Mark Hix’s Piccalilli
and Dorset cider and caramelised red onion chutney.

When MasterChef winner Thomasina Miers decided to open a Mexican restaurant in London’s Covent Garden, she knew it made sound business sense to make the most of the selling space available to her. Covent Garden rents are high and she recognised that it would be more cost-effective for her to have as many tables as possible, and to reduce her kitchen space and the amount of chefs she required. The skills she required from her chefs were in producing brilliantly prepared meats, fishes and poultry and dish assembly, and not in the time-consuming process of making salsas, sauces and marinades. We’ve helped take the pressure off with our Del Fuego range working with her by ‘bespoking’ to her own recipe to a standard expected of a MasterChef winner. She now has three restaurants, shortly opening a fourth and knows she can rely on us to help her business grow. |

We were approached by Castle
McLennan Foods to create restaurant quality
drizzles for them to include in the mouth water starter packs they produce
for Waitrose. These delicious products includes a Salmon Terrine with
our Fine Herb dressing, Spiced Aubergine pate with our Red Pepper salsa
dressing and the Duck Liver Parfait with our Forest Fruit dressing. This
innovative idea has gone down very well with time-strapped customers
and we are delighted to continue working with this well established Scottish
company. |
